Existing Troop Members: Please login or register for an account in the top left corner. Scouting Age Guidelines: Cub Scouts: Boys & Girls K-5. Scouts BSA: 11-17 Open to girls, but troop 7012 is male only at this time. Cub scouts may become boy scouts if they have earned the Cub Scouting Arrow of Light Award, and are at least 10 years old and have completed the fifth grade. May 11- USS Hornet Advancement Day 2024

Held in the spring on the USS Hornet, Scouts have an opportunity to continue their advancement program and earn valuable merit badges that may not be readily available elsewhere. Scouts can earn up to two merit badges in one day, while helping them on their path to earn their Eagle Scout rank and serve our community.

March 22 & 23 - Keeper of the Fish/Fishing in the City - canceled

Scouts should read and reply to their Slack messages regarding rain Friday night and possible cancelation of this event.

We will be camping again the night before Fishing in the City to guard the fish planted in the lake. Saturday morning we will wake up early, break camp and help run the program that day.

May 25 - Flags on Graves

Join us for this fun (yes, I said fun!) troop 12 tradition. We will be placing flags on the graves of veterans at Sunrise Memorial Cemetery to honor veterans over Memorial Day.

March 16 - Silverado Service Project

As a  service project to benefit Skyline Park, we will be planting trees to help restore native habitat. Skyline Park has been a longtime partner with Scouts allowing us to camp and use the park for free at Camp-O-Ree, Cub-O-Rama, and other events. Please come out and help us do a good turn for the park.

February 4 - Memorial for Navy Chief Ray Wilson

Troop 12 will be providing the honor guard at the memorial for Chief Raymond Wilson. Chief Wilson was a veteran of World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. Please come dressed in full class A  uniform to help honor his life of service. Scouts should be at the Veteran's Hall at 11:30 a.m. to practice. The ceremony starts at 1:00 p.m.

January 21, 2024 - Orienteering Hike

We will be taking a short hike of about two miles to practice our Scout navigating skills. Bring a compass and your ten essentials. We'll meet at 2:00 p.m. at the Veteran's Hall. You'll receive a map and navigating instructions at the trailhead.
